• I was a member of the downtown Portland Rotary Club from 2003-2015; when I moved to Bend, Oregon, I joined the Rotary Club of Greater Bend.
• My real estate services company, Realty Remotely, sponsored the Mountain View High School football team.
• I raced motorcycles with OMRRA for about 7 years.  Now I just take my son Ben to watch (but sometimes do “refresher” track days at Oregon Raceway Park).
• I’ve written a couple of articles for Motorcycle.com on the MV Augusta F4 Strada and the Ducati 748.
• I participated in the Rally of the Lost Patrol (twice!) and lived (and thawed) to tell about it.
• I was a judge for many years at the Forest Grove Concours D’Elegance.
• I’m an associate of SEOMoz (and a big fan of Rand and his team); I answer Q&A questions from PRO members, and publish the occasional techie SEO article on SEOMoz’s main blog.
• My mother-in-law, RaeAnn Proost, has published her 3rd book, Cupcakes on the Counter – a collection of memoirs and heirloom recipes.
• My good friend Kilong Ung, fellow Rotarian, just published his first book, entitled Golden Leaf, A Khmer Rouge Genocide Survivor.
• My travel company, Visual Itineraries, has sponsored the Peninsula K-8 school basketball team uniforms. I also sponsored a set of banners for the school.
• I say nice things about great businesses I like on Yelp.
• My consulting business operates under my S corp, OzTech, Inc.
• I will usually put my SEO presentations up on SlideShare.
